Welcome to Toni Sheppard Photography! My name is Toni, and I was born and raised and am raising my own family in a suburb of New Orleans, Louisiana.  I began my photography journey after I had my daughter and knew I needed to document her early years.  She was so photogenic and beautiful, and I really enjoyed taking pictures of her.  Over the years, my photographic interests have changed.  I've grown to really enjoy making images of landscapes and nature and wildlife.  

With my husband being a realtor, I’ve had the opportunity to do quite a bit of real estate photography. I have really enjoyed it and love going into the beautiful, and sometimes quite old, homes that are full of character in and around the New Orleans area.

I’m also a member of a photography group. It’s an informal affair, but it’s been such a blessing to me. I love being around others who share my love for this hobby, and it provides opportunities to photograph things or places that I might not do on my own.

While landscapes are my favorite to photograph, I’m currently beginning to explore more still life, like food photography. I hope to document the journey here on my site. I hope you’ll check back often to see the things I’m working on!
